We, at Cathedral, specialise in the accounts and financial records of the licensed trade.
We have developed our own book-keeping system specially tailored to the licensed trade. This involves the completion of a weekly sheet, produced by ourselves, by the publican and this is then sent to ourselves by first class post in envelopes supplied. This sheet includes the recording of the takings, cash/cheque/card payments and bankings.
Once received by us, this information is then recorded onto a computerised accounting programme. This enables us, at any time, to ascertain the financial position of the business and report any anomalies directly back to our client.
From this information, we can also produce our clients VAT returns and management information to assist with tax planning matters.
All of the above services are available for a set fee, payable over 12 months on direct - debit, therefore the client knows what they are paying in advance and can budget accordingly.
